A favorite frond of ours returned for another title sequence! This time for their 2023 Virtual Summit, Asana Forward.

They challenged us with telling a “before and after” story without voiceover, using simple designs inspired by a sharply cultivated event branding package. The result is an abstract depiction of a pre-Asana world filled with darkness and chaos, completely transformed by the simplicity and clarity that Asana brings.

Uncertainty and jerkiness of the opening make way for later smooth movements that represent Asana’s organizational agility. Shapes and symbols represent the narrative. 2D motion graphics are infused with live-action footage, showcasing how simple design can be brought to life using intentional and detailed motion direction.

Custom music and sound design were composed to complement the emotions of the visuals and garner intrigue for the rest of the event.
